John Lovett focuses on the online customer experience and researches strategies and technologies that companies utilize to deliver a superior online environment. Lovett’s coverage areas include methods that companies deploy to successfully attract customers to the web site, tools to guide them through the online experience and tactics to facilitate conversions and build customer loyalty. Areas of research include eCommerce platforms, search technologies, web analytics, web wontent management tools, and emerging Web 2.0 technologies. Lovett addresses the technology challenges end users face and the solutions available to them from the marketplace.
Lovett brings over seven years of eCommerce research and analysis to the Aberdeen Group. Prior to joining Aberdeen, he was analyst for Gomez.com, a research and consulting firm specializing in online businesses. Prior to joining Gomez, Lovett was a marketing manager for Wave Sport. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Colorado State University.
